Definitions of common terms.
Quick definitions for the terms you’ll see throughout the workflow builder.
- Upstream: Nodes that feed data into the current node. Upstream context can include text, images, audio, and video.
- Downstream: Nodes that receive outputs from the current node and continue the pipeline.
- Variations: Multiple outputs from a single run. Useful for A/B testing or human review.
- Asset URLs: Media links produced by generators, often in a list for batch downloads.
- Preview Node: Auto-spawned node that stores generated output for inspection and pass-through.
- Runs: The number of outputs requested per execution.
